Technical Training Services
Telesat offers custom training programs in almost every area of the satellite business from the general to the specific. Telesat's training programs are unique in the sense that they have been developed based on Telesat's extensive experience as a satellite operator.
Various levels of training programs are offered from introductory to advanced. Course duration can be a couple of days or several weeks depending on the course offered. The training can be conducted at Telesat's headquarters or at the customer's premises.
Most courses are custom tailored to meet your organization's needs. Please note that Telesat does not provide "generic" training to individuals, but provides training packages at an orginzational level.
Flexible training formats are utilized ranging from formal classroom lectures to on-the-job type training. Several programs involve field trips and visits to various plants and satellite facilities.
