Over the past many years Telesat has gained the expertise to design, implement, commission, train, operate and maintain any satellite or integrated satellite/terrestrial service including broadcast, voice and data services and non-standard type services i.e. special assembly earth stations (SAES).

Broadcast Services - Telesat is the market leader in providing total satellite based broadcast solutions in Canada. Over the past thirty (30) years, Telesat has designed and implemented hundreds of video and radio distribution systems for our customers. Our designs include Analog, DVC and DTH systems presently in use by leading Canadian and international broadcast operators.

Voice and Data Services - Telesat provides a host of satellite-based voice and data solutions. Telesat leads the marketplace in providing satellite voice and data networks for private customers and the telephone industry in Canada. The Company's long-term exposure to this field has provided it with extensive knowledge in interfacing terrestrial facilities to satellite networks. Telesat also has vast experience operating VSAT based networks primarily for private data networks. Telesat presently operates five (5) HNS VSAT hubs supporting LAN, WAN, TCP/IP and other associated customer protocols and applications.
