Transfer Orbit Services (TOS)
Transfer Orbit is defined as a set of intermediate orbits with the goal of achieving a geosynchronous orbit for the satellite. During transfer orbit, a network of tracking stations is required to provide continuous RF contact with the spacecraft.

Telesat
is a market leader in the provision of Transfer Orbit Services (TOS) to the
satellite industry providing services in C, Ku and BSS frequency bands. Using
software systems developed by the Company, and its Eastern and Western Hemisphere
tracking stations, Telesat offers worldwide transfer orbit tracking services
to help maneuver a satellite into its final orbital position in space. Telesat's
Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C) facilities in Perth, Australia,
together with the Allan Park TT&C facility and the Telesat Satellite Control
Center (SCC), serve as the backbone of Telesat's Transfer Orbit network.
Since 1985, Telesat's transfer orbit mission team has supported over 80 satellites from launch vehicle separation into geostationary orbit for a number of international clients and spacecraft manufacturers. TOS services have been provided to Boeing, Space Systems/Loral, CNES and Israel Aircraft Industries. Telesat's TOS service is based on ISO 9001 standards.
