Welcome to the new Telesat website.

We are extremely pleased to announce that a new satellite services leader, Telesat, has been formed by combining the resources and expertise of two of the most respected companies in our industry, Telesat Canada and Loral Skynet.

The new Telesat retains the best features of both satellite providers but with greater coverage, fleet depth and global capabilities to help our customers succeed.

Telesat now has a global state-of-the-art fleet of 12 satellites, with three additional satellites under construction. We also operate a robust and comprehensive fiber and teleport infrastructure that is seamlessly integrated with our global satellite fleet to provide users with a range of advanced networking solutions anywhere in the world. 

In addition to our assets and infrastructure, Telesat has a team of deeply dedicated and experienced satellite professionals – a team that draws on more than 75 years of combined operations for both Telesat Canada and Loral Skynet. The Telesat team is passionate about providing you and your customers with the most reliable and secure satellite communications and consulting services available, coupled with the highest levels of customer service and support.
